Chettinad School of Law (CSL) is a newly established law school under the Chettinad Academy of Research And Education (CARE), which was inaugurated by former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra on 19^th August 2019. Chettinad School of Law, recognized by BCI and approved by UGC provided an environment that offers high-quality education through active learning methods, qualified and experienced faculty and exposure through legal internships. Chettinad School of Law is a member of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law and International Association of Law Schools. Numerous outreach programs are conducted as a social initiative that helps the students to understand the implications of the legal measures.

Chettinad School of Law offers law degree programs at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels and strives to open new vistas in the arena of law through clinical legal studies and research. With an objective to raise the standards of clinical legal education in India, the Chettinad School of Law regularly host webinars, moot court competitions, conferences, symposia and encourages law students to participate in various events/competitions across the country.

Legal Education is not just mastering subjects or the varied provisions of the law but rather an overall development of an individual into a legal professional.
