Chettinad School of Physiotherapy was established as a new school in 2019 under Chettinad Academy of Education and Research (CARE), deemed to be University under section 3 of UGC act 1956. The School is situated on the University eco-friendly green campus with sophisticated learning resources such as exercise therapy unit, gait training unit, electrotherapy unit, sports rehabilitation unit, multimedia libraries, physiology lab and an anatomy museum. The campus also provides student amenities such as hostels, cafeteria, gym, reading rooms and recreation areas.
Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute has 1200 beds where the physiotherapy students can gain practical exposure to varying patient rehabilitation under clinical supervision. Students at Chettinad School of Physiotherapy get the opportunity to interact with and learn from some of the best professionals in their chosen area by regular guest lecturers, CME and CPE programmes.

They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease. The profession helps to encourage and facilitate recovery, enabling people to stay active while helping them to remain independent as long as possible.
