CARE has a 100 acre lush green campus at Kelambakkam on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), popularly called the IT corridor of Chennai. Situated around 30 kms away from Chennai Raj Bhavan, the campus is serene and tranquil sans the hustle and bustle of the city and yet having access to all the modern day amenities. Sustainable future being the ultimate goal, all efforts go in to recycle water and to utilize rainwater through recharge wells and ponds, use of renewable energy sources is maximized through deployment of solar power panels, exclusive vehicle-free green zones are earmarked and are provided with bicycles for mobility. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled making all the resources online accessible for the students all the time. Apart from separate hostels for girls and boys, apartments and villas for staff, faculty and postgraduate students, with a huge food court offering food in various cuisines, sports facilities – both indoor and outdoor, swimming pool, banks among other facilities, meticulous care has gone in to making life inside the campus a self contained and vibrant one. Students coming from all corners of the country have an opportunity to exchange cultural values and traditions through many colorful cultural events organized throughout the year by the students council.

Active engagement of students, staff and faculty not just in academics but also in extra curricular, sports and cultural activities makes the campus life at CARE a very vibrant one.

  • Connectivity & Digitization – The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled making access to information and education possible anywhere and at anytime
  • Teaching & Learning – CARE has an exclusive Learning Management System (LMS), a Networked Learning Environment (NLE)
  • Library – 30000+ titles and 6000+ e-Journals
  • Safety & Security – Entire campus is continuously monitored with the deployment of 600+ Closed circuit Television (CCTV)
  • Access Control – Biometric access controlled turnstiles are installed at all Entry/Exit points and RFID tagged ID cards are provided to students and staff
  • Biometric Attendance – Students and staff entry and exit in to Lecture halls, demo halls, hostels, hospital, transport vehicles and library are registered through Biometrics
  • Mobility & Transport – Battery operated karts, e-scooters & bicycles are ample in use for mobility inside the campus. Buses are fitted with biometric attendance and fuel monitors to track, report and improve operating efficiency
  • Waste, Water & Air Management – Two STPs and a centralized AC plant help in recycle and reuse of water and energy conservation

Gallery-type lecture halls & non-gallery type demo halls with ACs are fully equipped with modern gadgets, enabled with multimedia, including gaming and animation. There are also earmarked studio-type halls for practical training, building prototypes, designing, & allied activities. There is a central Atrium with natural lighting for students to relax / study. Escalator & lift facility exists in the college block. Exclusive common room facilities for boys and girls are provided with attached toilets and beds in each of the constituent colleges / schools

Separate accommodation for boys and girls with the latest amenities and separate wardens are available. Students can choose, subject to availability, from single to multiple occupancy dorm rooms, and AC and non-AC facilities. Tariffs including board and lodge vary and is payable at the time admission / allotment. Midterm / semester allotment is subject to availability.

For day scholars, transportation facility by bus to and from campus and multiple points in the city is available at a fee. Tariffs vary depending on distance and A/C & non A/C buses.

On campus, both vegetarian & non-vegetarian food facilities are available for a fee. For hostellers, this cost is included in the hostel fees. A food court and cafeteria type counters are available in the college’s Admin Block, and A & D blocks for cafeteria for day scholars, staff, and faculty. There is also a Vasantha Bhavan campus extension counter. We partner with several catering contractors to ensure uninterrupted services.

For Holistic development it is imperative that the students are fit both mentally & physically that make them agile with boundless energy.Sports offer a salutary contrast to the demands of purely mental pursuits. They provide an invaluable opportunity for our students to interact, keep fit, pursue excellence and work in teams. Exceptional talents are given adequate encouragement to emerge as winning performers in their chosen sporting disciplines. The Chettinad Sports training caters to all abilities and aims to help players, improve their sports skills and participate in competitive sports tournaments in National, State & University level tournaments. The facilities provide cost effective training and equipment to players to help them improve their capabilities. Our sports facilities are extensive and well-equipped, catering to a wide range of sports. There is an indoor stadium as well as extensive space for outdoor sports.

The campus is lively 24 x 7 – be it the middle of the day or night, there is something or the other happening in the campus. CARE strongly believes that for overall development it is essential to have co-curricular activities that brings out leadership qualities in the participants, for every student is talented and the talent is latent. To bring this out amongst the students, CARE has several other activities
